Self-RAG
Self-RAG is a retrieval-augmented generation method in which the model decides when retrieval is needed and critiques the retrieved passages and its own output using special reflection tokens.
Self-RAG sits in the Retrieval & memory part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.
Also called self-reflective RAG.
