TPU

A TPU is a custom AI accelerator chip designed by Google to speed up the matrix operations used in machine learning, available mainly through Google Cloud.

TPU sits in the Infrastructure part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.

Also called Tensor Processing Unit.
