Query routing

Query routing is directing each query to the most suitable data source, index or retrieval method, such as a vector store, a SQL database or web search, based on its content.

Query routing sits in the Retrieval & memory part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.
