Vector search

Vector search is finding items whose embedding vectors are closest to a query vector under a similarity measure, which lets a system match content by meaning rather than exact words.

Vector search sits in the Retrieval & memory part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.
