Indexing

Indexing is organizing content into a data structure, such as an inverted index or vector index, that allows fast lookup of matching items at query time instead of scanning everything.

Indexing sits in the Retrieval & memory part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.
