Observability

Observability is the ability to understand what a system is doing from the data it emits, such as logs, metrics and traces, and for AI systems also includes prompts, outputs, costs and tool calls.

Observability sits in the Infrastructure part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.
