Worker pool

A worker pool is a fixed or scalable set of processes, threads or agents that pull tasks from a shared queue and execute them, allowing many tasks to run in parallel with bounded resources.

Worker pool sits in the Orchestration part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.
