Task queue

A task queue is a system that holds units of work waiting to be processed and distributes them to available workers, tracking which tasks are pending, running, completed or failed.

Task queue sits in the Orchestration part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.
