Task allocation

Task allocation is the process of deciding which agent or worker should handle each task in a multi-agent system, based on factors such as capabilities, availability, cost and workload.

Task allocation sits in the Orchestration part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.
