Agent orchestration

Agent orchestration is the coordination of one or more AI agents, tools and processes so they work together on a larger task, covering who does what, in which order, with which data and under which controls.

Agent orchestration sits in the Orchestration part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.

Also called AI orchestration, multi-agent orchestration, orchestration layer.
