State space model

A state space model is a sequence modeling architecture that processes inputs through a compact, continuously updated hidden state, offering an alternative to attention that scales more efficiently with sequence length.

State space model sits in the Models part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.

Also called SSM, Mamba.
