End-of-sequence token

An end-of-sequence token is a special token a language model generates to signal that its output is complete, which tells the system to stop generating further text.

End-of-sequence token sits in the Models part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.

Also called EOS token, end-of-text token.
