Reranking
Reranking is a second retrieval stage in which a more accurate but slower model reorders an initial set of candidate results by relevance to the query before they are shown or passed to a model.
Reranking sits in the Retrieval & memory part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.
Also called reranker, re-ranking.
