Event-driven architecture

Event-driven architecture is a software design in which components communicate by producing and reacting to events, such as a new message or a completed task, instead of calling each other directly.

Event-driven architecture sits in the Orchestration part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.

Also called EDA, event-driven.
