Deduplication
Deduplication is the detection and removal of repeated messages, tasks or events, often by tracking unique identifiers, so that retries or duplicate deliveries do not cause the same work to run twice.
Deduplication sits in the Orchestration part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.
Also called dedup, dedupe.
