Server-sent events is a web standard that lets a server push a continuous stream of messages to a client over a single HTTP connection, commonly used to stream language model responses.

Server-sent events sits in the Infrastructure part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.
