Custom instructions

Custom instructions are persistent preferences or rules a user sets once in an AI assistant, such as tone or background details, which are automatically added to every conversation.

Custom instructions sits in the Prompting & context part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.

Also called standing instructions.
