SPLADE
SPLADE is a learned sparse retrieval model that uses a language model to assign weights to vocabulary terms, including related terms absent from the text, combining keyword-index efficiency with semantic matching.
SPLADE sits in the Retrieval & memory part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.
Also called sparse lexical and expansion model.
