Embedding model

An embedding model is a neural network that converts text, images or other content into embedding vectors, used for semantic search, clustering, recommendation and retrieval-augmented generation.

Embedding model sits in the Retrieval & memory part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.

Also called text embedding model.
