Program-aided language model

A program-aided language model is an approach in which the model writes code, such as Python, to represent its reasoning, and an interpreter runs that code to compute the final answer precisely.

Program-aided language model sits in the Models part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.

Also called PAL, program of thoughts.
