Message broker

A message broker is middleware that receives, stores and routes messages between applications, handling queues or topics, delivery guarantees and acknowledgements on their behalf.

Message broker sits in the Orchestration part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.
