Evaluator-optimizer

Evaluator-optimizer is a workflow pattern in which one model call produces a result and another evaluates it and gives feedback, repeating in a loop until the result meets the defined criteria.

Evaluator-optimizer sits in the Orchestration part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.

Also called generator-critic loop.
