Encryption at rest

Encryption at rest is the protection of stored data, such as databases, logs and model files, by encrypting it on disk so it cannot be read if the storage is accessed without authorization.

Encryption at rest sits in the Evaluation & safety part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.
