Domain-specific model
A domain-specific model is an AI model trained or fine-tuned for a particular field, such as medicine, law, or finance, to perform better on its terminology and tasks than a general model.
Domain-specific model sits in the Models part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.
Also called Vertical model, Specialized model.
