Checkpointing
Checkpointing is the practice of saving a workflow's or agent's state at intervals so that, after a crash, pause or human review, execution can resume from the last saved point instead of starting over.
Checkpointing sits in the Orchestration part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.
Also called checkpoint, resumability.
