Tool schema

A tool schema is the machine-readable definition of a tool given to a model, listing its name, purpose and the names, types and constraints of its input parameters so the model can call it correctly.

Tool schema sits in the Agents & tools part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.
