SOC 2

SOC 2 is an auditing framework from the American Institute of CPAs that assesses how a service organization protects customer data, based on criteria covering security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy.

SOC 2 sits in the Evaluation & safety part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.

Also called SOC 2 Type II.
