Publish-subscribe

Publish-subscribe is a messaging pattern in which senders publish messages to named topics and any number of subscribers receive the messages for topics they have registered for, without knowing each other.

Publish-subscribe sits in the Orchestration part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.
