Open-weight model

An open-weight model is a model whose trained weights are publicly released for download, allowing anyone to run or fine-tune it, even if its training data and code are not published.

Open-weight model sits in the Models part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.
