Fallback

A fallback is an alternative path used when the primary one fails, such as switching to a different model, tool or cached answer, so a workflow can still produce a usable result.

Fallback sits in the Orchestration part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.
