Computer use

Computer use is the capability of an AI agent to operate a graphical computer interface like a person does, reading screenshots and issuing mouse movements, clicks and keystrokes to complete tasks in ordinary applications.

Computer use sits in the Agents & tools part of the Agentik {OS} glossary, which defines the words used to build and run AI agent systems.

Also called computer-using agent, GUI agent.
